Rogers wanted to create a interactive unit that would engage potential customers by playing a fun futuristic game.
Given a short window of time to design, build, and package 10 working dance pads for the launch of windows 8 was a grueling challenge.
No time to prototype or just make one unit, the pressure was on to make 10 functioning units in time for the launch.
Built using acrylic, 1″ thick komatex (PVC) scratch resistant poly-carbonate. The units were CNC cut and fabricated.
The pressure pads were engraved to specific depths to keep all components level.
